Russ Whitaker is the Fatherhood Program Director at The Pregnancy Care Center of Rockford.
He is married to Sue, and they have been married 46 years. They have four children and 15 grandchildren. Russ spent 25 years in the petro-chemical industry, prior to entering his second career as a Pastor for the last 15 years. Russ has pastored Churches in Illinois, Minnesota, and North Dakota.
Like many of the clients that come into The Pregnancy Care Center, Russ and Sue faced an unexpected pregnancy, so they understand the feelings that our clients can be struggling with. Also as a Pastor, Russ has counseled women who have had an abortion, and knows the pain that comes from that decision.
His desire is to come alongside young women and men as they face an unexpected pregnancy and help them to make a life affirming and God honoring decision.
